Children & Teen Ministry

Looking for a great family resource for your time with the family during COVID-19? Here's a great resource from Faith Inkubators that utilizes the FAITH5 faith practices.

Wee Worship:

Wee Worship is provided for children ages 4-10 during both our 8:30am and 11am service times. This ministry is led by the children’s ministry team. Wee Worship  mirrors the adult service, but on a ‘kid-friendly’ level, to engage our younger worshipers in the lesson.

Children will join their parents at the start of service during announcements. Shortly after, the children will be called up for the children's sermon. Immediately after the children's sermon, they will all be escorted by our children's ministry leaders to a classroom nearby. The children return for communion so they too are able to participate.

Sunday School:

Sunday school is held for children and youth of all ages.

This summer, our families are participating in Camp Wonder, an intergenerational Sunday School class. Children, teens and adults are learning about the wonders of our Triune God through age appropriate curriculum designed to enhance everyone's learning experience.

"Building Youth Groups" (BYG) is our ministry with elementary age children. BYG meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm at the same time as Adult Study Classes and Life Groups during the school year. The lesson plans regularly include teachings from the Bible, music, crafts, experiments and of course, lots of fun!  The BYG program also provides children with an opportunity to serve in the community once a month.  As with all of our children's ministry programs, transportation can be arranged.  Just call the church office no later than Wednesday at 3 p.m. to arrange a first time pick up for your child.

“Sunday Night Live” is a middle school and high school youth ministry that meets weekly during the school year.   We provide many opportunities for our youth to grow in faith in Jesus Christ through the Word and Christian fellowship. Typically, SNL is 5:00-7:00 on Sunday evenings.  Each evening begins with Confirmation (middle school) or a Bible study (high school), followed by dinner and a fun activity or service project, and we end with Evening Prayer.

Typical Weekly SNL schedule:

5:00   Small Groups  (including Confirmation class for 7th and 8th graders)

6:00   Dinner

6:20   Fun events, service projects

6:50   Evening Prayer
